2025 Summary

Uugh! Well firstly apologies to my readers who keep updated with my show results through my website.  To say I have been slack is certainly an understatement, and here we are more than halfway through 2026 and nothing has been listed.

Home and family life has definitely interrupted my normal updates, and before those questions are emailed – yes we are still doing renovations on the house with the intention of putting it on the market.

Let me summarise 2025.

Cindy – gained her Australian title with ease on the Condo circuit with Beth so she can now be known as Australian Champion Adrahil Oh What A Knockout.  Can’t thank Beth enough for taking her on and helping her obtain those final points needed to be called an Australian Champion.

Then it was time for the September Chihuahua National held in Adelaide along with the Royal.  Both events were well attended, and even though no frillies for us, it was amazing to see Supreme Ch Voncronan Diamond Desire @ Skyeway – go through to win his back-to-back Chihuahua National.  Vinnie is just an outstanding dog displaying all the hallmarks of the breed and it’s easy to see why he is the top winning smooth coat of Australia.  I was super excited for Kylie to obtain this prestigious award once again.  In fact, all his offspring placed in the top three, and it was really a joy to see.

A special mention of Voncronan Phaat Tony, Capone’s (Aust Ch Adrahil Shake Down) offspring who placed first in the baby class of male smooth coats which was super exciting (National award), and I see fantastic things for this little male dog with his sire’s temperament, loving everyone and everything.

From there it was back home to WA, where I decided to get the ball rolling on the house which meant I had to slow down my showing.

Towards the end of the year, I also made the decision to retire Hugo - Australian Grand Champion Voncronan Dirty Desire.  To be honest since his back injury I had been considering it and even though he is fit and was still willing to give his all I decided it was time to retire this little cracker of a dog, where he is now supremely happy being my little shadow and foot warmer.

And that was the end of 2025 in a nutshell.
