Cindy has done a bit of traveling.

She is over with the lovely Beth who has been showing her on the Condo circuit, and I cant thank her enough, as I know Cindy just loves her to bits and have the videos to prove it!!

To date she has managed to rack up some impressive points and is over half way to her title.

We will be meeting up with Bethy and Cindy when I arrive in SA to show her at the National - cant wait for Cindy cuddles!

JULY/AUGUST

Hugo has been at home enjoying being a hot water bottle in the winter months!

He has adapted well to his change in diet, and has also been regularly attending a brilliant person in biomechanics to help me overall improve his strength whilst keeping him in great condition.

He has only had two shows for the above months  but still took out both Best of Breeds on offer accumulating another 25 points!

His next show will be at the Chihuahua National being held in South Australia in September!

HOME LIFE

THE WINTER MONTHS

Over the winter months and for this year only, we have decided to take a step back from showing.

Getting the home ready for sale is hard slog and I never realised how much maintenance we have really put on the back burner!

Expect to see us back in the show ring here and there but we wont be attending as many shows whilst we try to wrangle all the things we have decided to do to our home ready for sale, hopefully with it concluding and on the market come January 2026.

With an entry of 187 toy breeds and under judge Mr Kipina of Finland in the first show - Kylie skilfully showed Capone to a 

"FOURTH IN GROUP"

Was absolutely blown away, and extremely thankful to Kylie for taking the reins and showing this little cracker of a dog.

He just loves her to bits!

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

WINTER FESTIVAL SHOWS

I was supposed to visit South Australia but unfortunately a few days before leaving I ended up in the emergency room at my local hospital.

With that issue all sorted but still feeling not well I tested myself for Covid and ended up having a positive result.

As both boys were already over, and Kylie offering to show them when she could, I decided to keep Cindy home with me so that she could be my lap warmer while I was still feeling poorly.

Showing at times - really does take a village and I am extremely grateful to mine xx

Cindy has been on a roll, progressing out of baby class and maturing quickly in the show scene.

She has started picking up points and going even further by taking out...

This girl is definitely a character, and god forbid I slow down too much in the ring, because she will crack a stack anywhere looking for that high value treat!

Keep your eyes on her, as she continues to mature as she will be one to watch !

Capone has been holidaying over in South Australia with my great friend Kylie Tilley from the esteemed Voncronan kennels.

Kylie had  offered to show him for me whilst he was visiting, and who am I to turn this fantastic offer down!  

Anybody who knows chihuahua's knows that Kylie is the leading handler and breed expert of this spicy little breed here in Australia!

In just a few weekends of showing, Capone finished his title taking out a RUBIG!

A huge thank you and shout out to Kylie!  Thank you so much!

Hugo as usual has been fantastic obtaining over 100 points between the months of February and May - so in just 3 months!

I have decided to give Hugo a short break from showing.  Hugo is now 4 years of age so I wanted to switch up his feeding and exercising routines, making sure that the new program is one that will allow him to remain in optimum health whilst still retaining great muscle tone.

Of course when I do enter him you can be sure I will post results!

Cant believe how many people contacted me asking for show news - was absolutely lovely.

The start of this year has not been as full on in the show scene as last year.  The husband and I have made the decision to sell our home, with a goal of it being placed on the market in late this year or early 2026.

For me it means not doing as many shows as I would like, whilst we do maintenance, landscaping and of course refreshing  the interior of the house over many weekends.

That being said the shows I have entered have had fantastic results.
