OUR LAST SHOWS FOR THE YEAR
Well the weekend starting the 7th of December was our last lot of showing for the year.
Hugo was on fire, and was awarded
"Best Exhibit in Group"
under esteemed judge Dr Francis McEvoy from South Australia.
To say I am blown away is an understatement.
Whilst we were waiting for General Specials, we relaxed and chilled with the other toy exhibitors who were waiting for their own turns to enter the ring.
Hugo was quite naughty as we were waiting to enter, and once moving in the ring was really showing himself off telling everybody to "look at me". Talk about attitude plus!
He was even barking at the other dogs as he strutted his stuff.
To be awarded Runner Up to Best In Show (RUBIS) was an absolute achievement.
The calibre of dogs he was up against was amazing, not to mention their amazing handlers.
Thank you so much to judge
Jason Attridge from Queensland
for thinking so highly of Hugo.
What a way to end our showing year for 2023!
QUINN - ADRAHIL QUINTESSENTIAL
So on the 25th of November we traveled down to Albany for three country shows.
These were actually Quinn's first shows out of Baby Class.
Super pleased to announce that she was awarded.
2 x Bitch Challenges!
I am so thrilled with her progress! Her personality right now is W I L D! and her attention is on every little thing that was blowing around whilst we attended the very windy Albany Shows, but she still pulled it together to be known as the BEST bitch long coated Chihuahua x 2!
HUGO - NOVEMBER 2023
I am quite pleased to say that November has seen us winding down some as we head towards the end of the showing calendar.
There was no shows for two weeks, and I then actually missed a show mainly due to pure exhaustion for both myself and Hugo.
None the less, on the shows we did attend Hugo went onto accrue another 22 points, and even though no frilly ribbons were obtained, it was business as usual for Hugo, who showed off himself beautifully.
HUGO - THE REST OF OCTOBER 2023
A fair bit of traveling was had from Bunbury to Geraldton with Hugo accruing another 60 points towards his titles as well as another
**Australian Bred In Group!**
We just love the country shows, and we do our absolute best to support them.
They are always well run, with fabulous committees and stewards as well as contracted judges!
I am extremely grateful for the fantastic comments I received from all of the judges about Hugo.
ADRAHIL QUINTESSENTIAL
Quinn started her show career with me with her first shows down in Bunbury after the National, where she was in Baby Class.
She won all 3 classes of breed offered.
The following weekend we traveled up to Geraldton, and again
She won all 3 classes on breed offered!
Super excited about this girl, as her temperament and conformation is just outstanding!

Ive really pushed Hugo the last couple of months in the amount of shows I have been entering as we cruise towards gaining his Grand and Supreme titles, and was well aware that we both could do with a much needed a break. But it was National time, and this is the first time in five years that it has been held.
I had amazing guests with their dogs staying with me for a full week, and am so thankful for their help with my own!
The day of the National arrived and it was beautiful and sunny, (yep sunscreen was needed!). The grounds at Dogs West looked amazing, and this little dog (though not at 100%) showed himself amazingly!
I was super pleased with him as he won,
BEST INTERMEDIATE SMOOTH COAT
BEST OPPOSITE INTERMEDIATE IN SHOW!
It was such an honour to go under international esteemed judge Miss Aimee Davies from the famous DACHIDA affix and I am so proud of this little dog!
RUBIS, 2 X AUST BRED IN SHOW
To say Hugo is on a roll is an understatement!
After going back for the Royal on Saturday we had another three shows on Sunday.
I am so proud of this dog!
Runner Up Best In Show
under aspiring local judge Karen Richardson
And then to top it all off he won another
2 x Australian Bred in Shows!
What an honour to receive these under specialist judges!
Pic - is from the Royal - still waiting on photos from the WATDSC.
BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP & AUST BRED IN SHOW
Well it was the Toy Group exhibiting at the Perth Royal Show on Thursday.
Hugo (CH Voncronan Dirty Desire) was on fire and took out both BOB’s, 2 x Australian Bred in Group, shortlisted for BIG under Mrs Whitney and then…..

And then returning on Saturday Hugo went on to win...

Thank you to judge Glenda Hesketh for her fabulous comments!
I am still floating on cloud nine!
August has been absolutely hectic.
With 3 weekends of showing, Hugo obtained all Best of Breeds, with a massive 69 points accrued.
He was awarded 2 x Australian Bred in Group, 2 x 3rd in Group and a Runner Up in Group under the lovely Margaret Joyce (VIC).
Thank you to all the other judges for thinking so highly of Hugo. He is the proverbial showman!

Thank you so much for your comments and gentle hands
I am so proud of Hugo, as during the Winter Festival FCI show, Hugo was awarded another CACIB bringing his total to three! Thank you to Mr Stanton from Sweden for awarding Hugo!
On the 22nd July, at the CSA of WA shows Hugo was pulled out and shortlisted for BIG, and was then awarded Australian Bred in Group under judge Mr G Cruse from NSW.
Thank you for the lovely comments about Hugo!
Two shows with two wonderful local judges.
Ms O Nankivell (Show 1) and Miss R Carnegie (Show 2). Was pleased to add even more points as we make our way towards Hugo's Grand CH
As an added bonus Hugo was awarded Australian Bred in Group in Show 1 under
Ms O Nankivell
Thank you to both judges over both weekend!
Back to the shows we went!
These two shows are our first back since Covid knocked us off our feet.
Hugo was only entered as I am tiring easily but am pleased to say he came away with another 17 points over both shows. Thank you to our wonderful judges Mrs G Heskith and
Mrs P Kelly.
For the first time since the pandemic started Covid has hit our household so we are in isolation as it makes it way through all four us - one week at a time :(
Hope to be back at the shows in early June!
STAY TUNED!
With a double set of shows each day over the weekend, and with three of them being in the 1-4 format - Hugo was again shortlisted for BIG under judge Mr S Mills (NSW) - what an absolute honour!
With this weekend of shows it has now put Hugo over the half way point in obtaining his GRAND CHAMPION title!
Auric is being shown sparingly at this stage as he deals with new routines and training. However I am super proud of this little dog as he and Hugo both were awarded BOB under Tasmanian judge Mr R Broomhall which was just fantastic! Thankyou to Mr Broomhall!
We then had the two WA Toy Dog Specialty Shows where only Hugo was entered, and was shortlisted for BIG under Mr B. Abrahams (NSW) which was amazing!
Well we flew to SA, and then drove to NSW to show at the NSW Speciality Shows. Hugo walked away with Best Intermediate Smooth in all three shows along with three Best Opp Intermediate in Show!
Auric didn't let me down and won Best Open Longcoat and Best Opp Open in Show!
Champ Show Judges: Chizuru Kadowaki (JPN) from Bramvers Chihuahuas and Tracey Larkin (South Africa). Open Judge: Nina Estatheo (NSW)
Hugo is kicking the competition and bought home another 15 points through Best of Breeds.
He was also awarded Runner in Group under judge Mr R Berwick (WA) which gave him another 15 points bringing the weekend to a nice 30 point total to put towards his GRAND Champion title.
Happy to say that Hugo has started this year off with a bang and accrued 30 points towards his Grand Champion title with the 3 shows entered.
He was then awarded 4th in Group (1-4 show format) under judge Mrs A Burton (NSW)
Auric - CH Adrahil Goldfinger, in his first two shows gained a RDC and BOB.
